In this paper, the principle of Transient Electromagnetic Method in practical work, the device type, measuring network layout, data interpretation and other aspects were discussed, and the coal mine underground mined-out area and water area to analyze the electrical characteristics.After Jingu mine geological data collected, a detailed analysis of the basic geology of the study area of a mining area were transient electromagnetic method to probe the work. By detecting the data after the related datum and data interpretation, delimit the electrical abnormal area and marking out goaf damage area, goaf water district distribution.Study on detection of the transient electromagnetic method on water in goaf, and provides a theoretical and technical support for the work of prevention and control of water in coal mine, and to improve the recovery rate of coal resources to provide technical data reliable, to ensure the normal operation of the coal enterprise and personal safety.
