The Influence Of Modern Fashion Design Of Chinese Aesthetics Of Design

Chinese traditional design aesthetics is profound and has a great impact on thecontemporary costume design, and it provides infinite inspirations to the current designwork. Understanding and studying the Chinese traditional design aesthetics andcombining the traditional aesthetic sprit with the modern design method is a premise ofmodern product design and creation. The fashion design is investigated under such abackground.Targeting on the traditional design aesthetics, the investigation background,researching significance, contents and creations points are firstly clarified in this paper.Secondly, the characteristics and connotation of the traditional design aesthetics aresummarized by analyzing the traditional design theories, while the view andunderstanding of design aesthetics from traditional and contemporary people as well asdifferent scholars are summarized. Thirdly, the contemporary fashion design factor underthe impact of traditional design aesthetics is analyzed, and it is deeply studied bycomparing the product syntax with the product itself, while the relationship between thetwo is found. Fourthly, the embodiment of Chinese design aesthetics in the costumevisual and connotation aspects is summarized, by taking the fashion design as an example.The impact and the value on the fashion design is also concluded. Fifthly, the productdesign method when considering the impact of Chinese traditional design aesthetics ispromoted by taking costume product design as example while combining with themethod and ideas of the modern design. Sixthly, combining with the previous analysisand taking ‘simplicity’ aesthetics as example,3different costumes are designed, whichreflect the profound meaning of the impact of Chinese aesthetics on the modern fashion design, this gives a good proof to the concluding points.
