With the rapid development of material civilization, the public aesthetic demand hasdiversified development trend. The simple and plain artistic form of original ecologicalpackaging make public a kind of quietly elegant aesthetic enjoyment, meet the multilevelaesthetic need of the public. Its rich connotation cultural make the public to review ourexcellent traditional culture, and increase the added value of the packaging.In this study, starting with the ecological design concept of original ecological packaging,put forward the food original ecological packaging should achieve the function and formalbeauty at the same time to meet the material and spiritual needs of the modern consumer.Research around the characteristics of the food original ecological packaging, comprehensiveresearch and analysis the food original ecological packaging design features, the connotationof culture, aesthetic ideas and the packing material, shape etc., combined with regional culture,ecological culture and the aesthetic mentality and demand etc. for the food original ecologicalpackaging design. And with the analysis of representative examples, and then summed up thefood original ecological packaging different from other forms of theoretical background,design principle and design method under the demand of the public aesthetic demand.According to the food original ecological packaging design principle and the principle,specific research and analysis it inheritance of traditional culture and reasonable use thematerials under the aesthetic demand of the public. Finally, in order to increase vitality of thefood original ecological packaging, promote the development of original ecological packaging,in the design of the original ecological packaging to retain the native landscape and artisticfeatures, but also to fusion era characteristics of packaging design, make the food originalecological packaging better adapt to the modern consumption environment and meet theneeds of the consumers.In this paper, through the research of food original ecological packaging design, providesthe design principle, methods and theoretical basis for promoting the innovation and development about original ecological packaging design.
