Carbon fiber with high specific modulus, high specific strength, high thermalconductivity and corrosion resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient of meritattract more and more attention. Carbon fiber is added in the resin and thermoplasticmatrix as skeleton material or increase in material use, and its application in rubberresearch is relatively less. Because most of rubber is a poor conductor of heat, if byincreasing the thermal conductivity of the vulcanized rubber products so as to timelyexported products internal heat loss due to, avoid from hot oxygen aging lead toshorten product life has been a lot of researchers’ interest. But the surface of the carbonfiber is smooth, and the inertia is very high, so the interface bonding strength betweencarbon fiber and rubber matrix is very weak, generally through the carbon fiber surfacemodification to improve the interface between reaction.In view of this, this thesis aimed at asphalt base short fibers with nitric acidoxidation, ozone treatment, high temperature oxidation of three methods for asphaltchopped carbon fiber surface treatment, and then respectively to natural rubber (NR)and nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), and the different modification methods for carbonfiber body structure and processing properties of mixing rubber, the mechanicalproperties of vulcanized rubber and experiments have been carried out to study theinfluence of thermal conductivity and other properties, and through the rubberprocessing analyzer (RPA), scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis, andthermo-gravimetric analyzer (TGA), dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA), thermalconductivity meter instruments such as characterization analysis with the result of the experiment.Results show that adding5PHR acidification3hours, ozone treatment,3.5h and320min carbon fiber high temperature oxidation treatment than the tensile strength ofthe vulcanizates without adding carbon fiber vulcanizates were increased by11.9%,13.2%and16.9%;5PHR carbon fiber to NR vulcanizates starting heat temperaturearound10℃. With the increase of carbon fiber dosage, hardness and thermalconductivity are significantly increased; The DMA test found that G ’increasedobviously, tan delta Max laws and reduce the high elastic state tan delta, on the otherhand. With an increase in the amount of carbon fiber, NBR/CF the tensile strength ofthe vulcanizates was gradually decreased, but the thermal conductivity, tear strength,100%stretch stress and hardness have been greatly improved, volume resistivitydecreased obviously.
