Amorphous alloy is long-range disorder while short-range order, so the surface freeenergy of amorphous alloy is higher than crystal alloy, amorphous alloy is in athermodynamic imbalance of metastable state. Metallurgist chemist and physicist havearouse interest in amorphous alloy that has easy magnetization axis, high corrosionresistance, high catalytic hydrogenation, high mechanical strength and photoelectricproperties. B has high volume calorific value and quality of calorific value and is one ofthe most promising additives. The quality of calorific value is58280kJ/kg(2.3times and1.9times more than Mg and Al). But the actual calorific value of B is very poor Becauseof the boron ignition and combustion process is very complex. We found that the boron has amorphous structure, so we want to join a flammablemetal to form an amorphous boron metastable that can improve the calorific value ofboron.1. First we use the reaction between sodium borohydride and nickel salt by chemicalreduction method to prepare amorphous alloy of boron and nickel, then test XRD, SEMand ICP, in the end we take the combustion test.2. Then we add sodium borohydride、 nickel salt and boron powder in agate jar byhigh energy ball milling, when sodium borohydride react with nickel acetate, put boronpowder in agate jar to form amorphous alloy powders by high-energy ball milling thentest XRD, SEM and ICP, in the end we take the combustion test.3. After the experiment was carried out, in order to improve, we use aluminiuminstead of nickel, put the aluminum powder and boron powder in agate jar directly toform amorphous alloy by ball milling, then test XRD, SEM and ICP, in the end we takethe combustion test.
