Study Of Fast Drilling Technology In Yanchang Gas Feild

With the increasing work of gas exploration and development in Yanchang oil feild, the situation that drilling crews with current drilling techniques could just finish three wells per year on average will affect the tasks of gas exploration and development. At present the managers are facing two big problems:how to reduce the development costs on the whole and how to improve the drilling speed on a large scale. For this reason, developing corresponding rapid drilling technologies to solve those problems is the way to drill gas wells faster.This paper has researched Heijiabao and Yaojiapo-two main producing areas of Yanchang oil feild, from the aspects of rock dillability and formation pressure sections. And through optimizing bits, drilling parameters and drilling tool structures, determine the range of reasonable drilling fluid density, select the collapse-prevention system of drilling fluid, strengthen the leakage stoppage measures, and determine the reasonable quickdrilling technology. As a consequence, the exploration and development costs reduce and product benefits increase significantly. This lays a foundation for the scale development of in Yanchang gas field.
