Zn-based alloys with lower melting point,little realsing heat when melte, good casting, antioxidant, texturing and coating properties, a series of advantages and rich resources, easy recovery.and so on,have a wide application prospect in the industrial field, home appliances, building and other anti-corrosion engineering, become the new important application of engineering materials In twenty-first Century. Now, The main molding method of zinc alloy is casting and plastic deformation. The plastic deformation process can eliminate micro-cavity and segregation of casting defects,Making the comprehensive mechanical properties of deformed zinc alloy is far better than similar casting zinc alloys.CASTEX as a technique for the production of high efficiency, low cost, short process, has been widely applied in the production of aluminum alloy, but zinc alloy production rarely reported. In this paper, through the exploration of continuous casting and extrusion process in the production of zinc alloy, the effect of process control on microstructure and mechanical properties of Zn-Al-Ti alloy, and the continuous casting and extrusion of Zn-Al-Ti alloy properties are research.Experimental study on the same cast extrusion process conditions of different alloy composition (Zn-Al and Zn-Al-Ti) tissue properties of zinc alloy. Through studying of its microstructure, Zn-Al eutectic (eutectoid) have a small amount of Ti element. Ti performs Al3Ti intermetallic compounds, making the CASTEX Zn-Al-Ti alloy performance is more excellent.The thermal simulation experiment of casting Zn-Al-Ti alloy, as a result, the Zn-Al-Ti zinc alloy with positive strain sensitivity. The flow stress rises when the strain rate increasing, decreases when the increase of deformation temperature. The strain rate of0.08s-1, the flow stress reach the peak.. The dynamic recrystallization occurs both in the transmission rate of0.01s-1~10s-1and temperature during200℃~350℃. Extrusion cylinder deformation rate of zinc alloy continuous casting and extrusion is less than10s-1,and the deformation temperature is about300℃, so in the process of plastic deformation occurs dynamic recrystallization.Experiments on Zn-Al-Ti zinc alloy continuous casting and extrusion forming process conditions in the process was studied. When the cooling water flow rate is10~15L/min, the casting temperature of Zn-Al solidus temperature of50℃temperature, extrusion ratio6and cast extrusion wheel speed process under8rpm conditions, continuous casting Zn-Al-Ti alloy have better comprehensive performance.
