With the rapid development of economy, people’s demand for energy is rising.Now coal is China’s most stable and effective energy and it will produce a large amount of fly ash in the combustion process.According to the statistics, at a rate of100millions tons of fly ash per year rapid growth.In the case of the rapid growth of fly ash emissions, this solid waste is only focused on road building, brick, cementand so on at present, a serious waste of utilization of fly ash.Therefore, the development of fly ash with high added value is very important.In view of the main components of the main components of fly ash and zeolite are similar,they are SiO2and Al2O3,Therefore, many of today’s researchers have strong interested in the comprehensive utilization of fly ash,studying the use of fly ash as a raw material for preparing zeolites which have high purity.This study is using inexpensive industrial waste material fly ash as basic raw materials for synthesis of Y type zeolite molecular sieve, By semi quantitative analysis of raw materials available, the original ashcontaining large amounts of impurities, which contains the highest calcium and iron, and the content are3.70%of Fe2O3and8.75%of CaO. The experiment use physical-chemical method to remove calcium and iron and other metal impurities.Firstly using the shaker of200mesh to choose fly ash,and then fly ash is grounded to0.06mm for magnetic selection,then mixing the fly ash with hydrochloric acid to remove impurity further. Studies show that the best reaction conditions for removing impurity are as follows:fly ash particle size is0.06mm,the concentration of hydrochloric acid is4molL,the mole ratio of hydrochloric acid and fly ashis1:3,reacting temperature is90℃,and the time is1.5h.Finally Fe2O3content is only1.6%on average, and CaO content is only1.5%on average.Y zeolite molecular sieve is synthesized by alkali fusion hydrothermal crystallization synthesis after the preprocessing of the fly ash. The phase, morphology.structure characterization of the zeolite are analysed by XRD、SEM、FT-IR and Particle size analyzer.The results show that the best reaction conditions are as follows:the ratio of fly ash and NaOH is1:1.7,the calcination temperature is600℃,and the time is2h,the crystallization directing agent is3mL,and then zeolite crystallizes for19h under100℃in the oven. After filtration and dryness can get Y zeolite.The adsorption properties and the strength of ball is the main performance of zeolite.The adsorption properties of gas adsorption on Y zeolite shows:the best experimental conditions is30min of vacuum pumping, and thepressure is0.2MPa.The results show that the adsorption amount of CO2and N2are respectively13.51%and21.06%, while the adsorption of O is almost zero;Its strength test results show that the strength of Mg(H2PO4)2·2H2O is the best which is up to5.7meters.
