Abundant Coal-bed Methane is contained in coal rake, In2006, our country has made the development and utilization of CBM as one of "the115" long-term energy development plans. This dissertation aimed at realizing the explosive characteristic parameters of CBM in standard state and Non-standard state, and then providing the guidance to safely development and utilization.Temperature or Pressure Swing Adsorption is the one of most widely use methods to purify the CBM. With the change of Temperature or pressure, the explosive parameters also change a lot. Therefore, the author did some improvements to the device of the original one aiming at meeting the requirements of experience in non-standard state.In this paper, the author determined the explosion limits of CBM, and the explosion range of it is8.9%~20.4%, and then choose four typical temperatures60℃100℃150℃200℃according to the temperature changes in the process of the Pressure Swing Adsorption, and the results are respectively8.2%~21.4%,7.9%~21.66%,7.8%~22.27%,7.4%~22.79%, according to the result we can easily draw the conclusion that the explosion range change wider with the increased temperature, so it become more dangerous. Meanwhile, the author also did the experience to determine the explosion limits of CBM in different pressure, the results were respectively that100KPa,8.35%~21.66%;200KPa8.0%~22.00%;300KPa,7.8%~22.49%. From the result we can draw the same conclusion that the higher pressure the wider explosion range and the more dangerous. And the limits oxygen concentration of the CBM is also an important index, the result is12.95%.The MIE is also an important index when we evaluate an explosive gas, the MIE of CBM is0.56mJ, it will change with the concentration of the explosive gas.The research results have important practical significance to guarantee the safe, effective mining and utilization of CBM, and also promoting the industrialization of CBM.
