Modern Numerical Control System is based on Computer Numerical Control System. Modern Numerical Control System is the integrated product of the Computer technology, Automatic technology, Power electronic technology, Communications and Machinery manufacturing technology. As these technologies developing, Modern Numerical Control System is improving itself. It can process the complex components precisely and reduce worker’s labor intensity. Therefore Modern Numerical Control System has been applied in the present manufacture processing widely. But small factories cannot afford a CNC Machine. In hydraulic system design process, processing valve blocks is time-consuming and labor-intensive work and it particularly prone to error. This subject is based on this practical engineering problem to study a simple numerical control system. This simple numerical control system can process valve blocks precisely and efficiently. According to the parameter abstracted from valve blocks drawing in AutoCAD, use Serial Port Communication Control, MSComm, and RS-232C interface to communicate from PC to PLC. It can transmit the parameters of the holes. According to the parameters of the holes, use Point to Point control method and Speed Control method to control Step Motor. Step Motor drives the stage to move and spindle to feed. Therefore it can realize locating the stage and process holes. In addition, the manipulator can change the cutting tool automatically between two processes. It can make the process automatically and continuously. The system is a simple and practical system to save the problem. It can promote the factory to use the manufacturing resources properly, shorten the processing cycle, improve quality of products, and reduce labor intensity. It can meet the needs of modern integrated manufacturing system.
