Leakage is one of the main form of underground high-voltage power grid failure, leakage fault leads to spark generation, and even leads to gas explosions and other serious accidents. It is a challenge to the leakage protection of mine high-voltage power grid in the severe coal production environment. Due to the steady-state leakage signal is weak, the interference signal, leakage troubleshooting complexity of the mechanism, underground high-voltage power grid leakage protection has always been a topic of high degree of concern.Using wiring for data transmission in the past is conventional leakage protection form, wiring is very troublesome, and it needs rewiring, flexibility is not enough when the grid needs to be changed. Therefore, using wireless sensor network technology for underground grid leakage protection to achieve information transmission and networking will be able to effectively solve above-mentioned problem.This paper use wireless sensor networks based on ZigBee. ZigBee technology is a new two-way wireless communication technology, flexible arrangement of its nodes, high reliability, low power consumption, easy mobility and cost effective. By underground power line layout ZigBee wireless sensor network node, build network, eliminating the need for cumbersome cable transmission, saving investment, but also easy to increase or decrease the node.This paper first describes the topic research purpose, research status, the purpose and significance of research at home and abroad; Based on the analysis of the related theory and technology of ZigBee wireless sensor network,we proposed leakage protection system for underground high-voltage power grid based on WSN; Then analyzes the underground high-voltage power grid leakage and protection principle; do the overall design of the system and the design of hardware, the CPU is selected, designed the terminal node, router nodes, the coordinator node and the host computer node hardware. Finally, each node of the lower computer is polished by software design, and the Labview is applied to the programming of host computer.
