Airfilld cushion is a new type of packaging material applied to the transport packaging sector in recent years.And its cushion property is provided by the gas filled in sealed chambers,which gives it lots of advantages both in shock absorption and vibration isolation.Currently,the airfilld cushion is mainly used as lining materials in cardboard boxes,packaging electronic products,breakable glassware,instruments,and a variety of art goods.Because of its excellent cushioning properties and wide range of applications, Airfilld cushion material industry is developing rapidly.However,with a large increase in the consumption of airfilld cushion material,it also products a lot of plastic packaging wastes,including scrap made in the production and all kinds of waste airfilld cushion material.It not only causes a huge waste of resources,but also has a serious impact on ecological environment,therefore the recycling and reuse of airbag material waste becomes a serious problem.Using recycle of the waste airfilld cushion material made of LDPE/PA6/LLDPE and LDPE-g-MAH (maleic anhydride grafted low-density polyethylene) as compatibilizer, to prepare recycled blend film with good mechanical properties,the oxygen barrier properties and moisture barrier properties,by mixing,extrusion and blow molding process.we expect to achieve a goal that the recycle film will take place LLDPE of the composite film.Before the experiment,analyzing on the composition of airfilld cushion material is quite necessary.By qualitative and quantitative analysis of airbag material,indicating that the co-extruted composite film of airfilld cushion is made of LDPE,PA6and LLDPE,wherein the mass content of LDPE is in the range of38%to46%,PA6is about17%-23%,LLDPE is about36%to40%.The mechanical properties,barrier properties,heat sealing performance as well as miscibility of the recycled blends of3%,8%,12%,16%(mass fraction) compatibilizer were discussed and analyzed.Infrared spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy analysis showed that,LDPE-g-MAH addition significantly improved Nylon and polyethylene blends interface compatibility between the two phases. The addition of compatibilizer could make dispersed phase dispersed in polyethylene matrix more uniform,decreasing the dispersed particle size,and result in good adhesion between the phases of PA6and PE.From the results of mechanical properties test,it can prove that,with the addition of compatibilizer,the tensile strength and elongation at break of the recycled film are both improved.Interfacial adhesion between the two dispersed particles refinement and better blends reduced defects, reduced stress concentration generated when the material is affected by external forces, so that the mechanical properties of recycled blends has been improved.It analyzed the effect of the content of the compatibilizer on the barrier properties of the recycled film.The results show that the blend with addition of3%to8%compatibilizer has better oxygen barrier properties.With the addition of the compatibilizer, the water vapor permeability of the recycled film decreases.The results of sealing performance showed that the sealing temperature and sealing time has great influence on seal strength of the recycled film. When the sealing pressure was200MPa, sealing temperature in the range of130~140℃, sealing time between0.7-Is, the recycled film has better seal strength.
