The mechanical products assembly is a very complicated productive process,which related to a wide range and large quantity of components and parts. Thematerial delivery is a key link in the assembling process. A timely, accurate, andefficient delivery not only can ensure the persistence and stability during theproductive process, but also can increase the production efficiency and reducethe production cost by a wide margin. This article aims at current issues relatedto the material delivery in the assembly shop, such as low efficiency, high cost,and lack of effective real-time working condition information, focuses onstudying the material delivery during assembling process, to realize theoptimization of material delivery.This article firstly brief introduces the research status of the material deliveryand truck route optimization, and also explains the meaning of the research.Thisarticle is based on researching the mechanical product assembling process andthe classification and delivery method of the material in the workshop, providesthe optimizing index of material delivery in the workshop. This article alsoanalyses the traditional delivery model and the real-time working conditiondelivery model, and explain the key technology related to the method. Thejust-in-time active type delivery will be realized by real-time interactinginformation between the work site and delivery center. Since the constraintcondition which the manufacturing shop has a limited capacity, a materialdelivery vehicle routing optimization model has been established to minimizethe cost. And the relevant genetic algorithm has been designed to make thecalculation. Through these, we can bring down the cost and guide the deliveryprocess. At last, this article sets a platform with a certain enterprise cooperationprojects; develop a material delivery system facing MES, and verify thefeasibility and effectiveness of this theory and method.
