While traditional antibiotic feed additives can produce huge economic benefits to the farming industry, but triggered by bacterial resistance, drug residues, environmental pollution and a series has a major impact on people’s daily lives become increasingly prominent and much people of allattention. Aquaculture industry need a new feed additive to replace antibiotics. Potassium diformate get the favor of people because of its excellent palatability and security.But KDF production technology is not yet mature,there is much room to improvement. KDF synthesis process to explore, and to explore the potential applications are of great significance.Selected formic acid-potassium hydroxide synthesis,formic acid-potassium carbonate synthesis, formic acid-mixed alkali synthesis to get potassium diformate.Finding their problem about yield was too low,reacting too fast and emissions of carbon dioxide.I propose formic acid-mixed liquor synthesis and formic acid-potassium hydroxide and carbon dioxide synthesis as their improvement project. Analyzed the characteristics of these ways. And analyzed exothermicity of the reaction of formic acid and potassium formate,formic acid and potassium carbonate. Take it as evidence to compare the five methods,and determine the optimal route. The main research work and results are as follows:(1) Selected potassium hydroxide, potassium carbonate and mixed alkali as raw material for the synthesis of potassium diformate. Analyze the effects of reaction condition on yield of potassium diformate.Determine the optimum process conditions.Compare the three methods and put forward some suggestions.(2) Selected formic acid-mixed liquor synthesis and formic acid-potassium hydroxide and Carbon dioxide synthesis,and analyze the effects of reaction condition on yield of potassium diformate. Determine the optimum process conditions by orthogonal experiment.(3) Through analyzed the exothermicity of the reaction of formic acid and potassium formate,formic acid and potassium carbonate,drawing a conclusion that formic acid-potassium hydroxide synthesis is not suitable to used for industrial production.At the same time, drawing a conclusion that add potassium carbonate into potassium hydroxide can moderates the violence of the reaction.(4) Compared with reaction product, production period and energy consumption,yield of KDF, material cost,and combined the analysis exothermicity of the reaction of formic acid and potassium formate,drawing a conclusion that formic acid-potassium hydroxide and carbon dioxide synthesis soloved carbon dioxide emission.It was the best methods of the five methods.
