As the storage of non-renewable energy resource become less and less, it is an urge to study new-type clear and renewable energy resource. Because of the rich energy source and simple process, solar cell has been focused on by an increasing numble of reserchers. Traditional liquid-state electrolyte has limited the lifetime of nanocrystalline DSSC. Solid-state electrolyte applied in DSSC can lengthen its lifetime. In this paper, CuSCN will be electrochemical deposited on as-prepared ZnO film to hybrid heterojunction and DSSCs with a graphite slice as counter electrode. Works in this paper are mostly concentrated on the following:Electrodeposite ZnO thin film on FTO substrate in Zn(NO3)2or ZnCl2aqueous solution. Effects of Zn-source and predeposition on crystal size and morphology have been studied. Result demonstrated that nanorod ZnO come into beings under rotating disc electrode deposition in ZnCl2aqueous solution. Predeposition can decrease the size of ZnO nano crystal.Stationary electrodeposite CuSCN thin film on the basis of FTO at temperature of25℃. The sample prepared at a potential of0.2V (vs. SCE) is easy to form nanorod observed under SEM. Small contact area resulted in a lower absorption intensity of CuSCN thin film to visible light.Prepare dye-sensitized ZnO nano film on FTO glasses by electrodeposition. Statistic electrodeposition method was used to hybrid CuSCN thin film on the as-deposited ZnO/dye composite film to construct heterojunctions. Carbon cut into slice worked as counter electrode in the measurement of rectification characteristic curves. Experimental result demonstrated that the rectification performance of heterojunction with CuSCN film prepared at0℃can reach a ratio of14at a potential of0.8V, approximately.Rotating disc electrode was applied to the electrodeposition of nano porous ZnO thin film on FTO glasses. And it was also used to hybrid CuSCN film in different condition on as-deposited ZnO substrate that the dye has been extracted and reabsorbed. Factors such as smaller rotating speed, lower temperature and choosing RB as dye sensitizer can result a higher photovoltaic conversion efficiency of prepared solid-state DSSCs than that prepared with EY as sensitizer and CuSCN deposited at250r/min,25℃. In spite of that the DSSCs prepared in this paper did not perform well in photovoltaic conversion efficiency, they could be improved by using another vacuum evaporated counter electrode or changing electrodeposition conditions.
