This paper focus on the changes of structure and texture of Hi-B steelwith0.2%copper which was trial-produced under experimental conditions.Referring to specific process,we designed material composition, simulatedhot-rolled process with different cooling ways, took samples during the second,fourth sixth and seventh hot-rolled passes, and compared the diversities ofstructure and texture. By handling material according to normalizing process,rolling plate based on cold rolling process and taking samples at the situationwhere the reduction rates are63.8%,75.2%,87.1%. A suitable primaryrecrystallization annealing process for this experiment was formulated. Thenthere were some discussion on primary recrystallization structure and texture ofboth normalizing and un-normalizing process under different reduction rate.Test results show that there exist organization and texture gradient in thethickness direction of hot-rolled sample. Goss texture grains are mainly originated inthe subsurface, while {100}<100> texture and {100}<011> texture are centralizedin the center. After being normalized, the samples organizational structure gotimprovement,and recrystallization grains increased,but there remains organizationgradient.For cold rolling samples structure,with the increase of reduction rate,thegrains become flatter and longer,then it is hard to identify with the crystalboundaries, and the shear zone increases in the matrix and fibrosis isobvious. The structure and texture of samples with different primaryrecrystallization annealing process shows830℃×5min process is more suitable. Thestructure and texture of the primary recrystallization annealing process ofnormalizing and un-normalizing under different reduction rate shows normalizing issuperior to un-normalizing,When reduction rate up to87.1%,both havethe similar tendency. Which is that α texture is weakened,anti-Goss texture{001}<110> and {111}<110>texture disappeared, texture gets strengthened,and tends to {111}<112> texture gradually.This experiment should controlreduction rate at87.1%from63.8%to87.1%.
