In industry, metal dust explosion accidents occur frequently, leading to a large number ofcasualties and huge property losses. At present, dust explosion suppression at home andabroad mainly has the following several methods: remove ignition source; to avoid theformation of dust clouds; the use of isolation, discharge, ventilation and a series of measures.But in industry, there are a lot of potential ignition source and unavoidable static environmentand electrostatic effect. So to remove the ignition source is almost impossible. And in dustprocessing, there will be a lot of dust exposure can cause dust cloud explosion formed in theair, so to avoid the formation of dust cloud is also very difficult. Taking a series of measuresof ventilation, discharge, isolation can actually reduce the likelihood of dust explosion; but ifthese protective measures fail, the consequences will be unimaginable. However,the dustinerting can effectively improve the minimum ignition energy of dust, so as to avoidexplosion accidents, which belongs to the essential safety method.In this paper, by referring to the domestic and foreign research status of dust explosionsuppression technology and method, using the1.2liter Hartmann test device for testing, theexplosion of (NH4)H2PO4of magnesium, aluminum, titanium dust of three kinds of metal dustinhibition. The test results show that:1. When the metal dust magnesium, aluminum, titanium were added to the massfraction of60%,10%,70%particle size of75microns (NH4)H2PO4,10times continuousignition metal dust is not to be ignited, show that the metal dust is fully inerted; in the metaldust were added to the mass fraction were80%,40%,90%particle size of75microns CaCO3,metal dust can be completely inert; the results showed that: NH4)H2PO4as a metal dustexplosion suppression agents, explosion suppression effect than CaCO3more pronounced.2. In the metal dust magnesium, aluminum, titanium particle size were added to75microns,90microns,109microns of (NH4)H2PO4to achieve the desired metal dusting fully inerted needs different mass fraction of (NH4)H2PO4, magnesium dust is60%,80%,110%,aluminum dust is10%,15%,20%, titanium dust is70%,90%,120%, by test results and dataanalysis can be obtained:(NH4)H2PO4in size with metal dust added continuously increases,completely inerting metal dust required quality scores increasing; three metal dust explosionsuppression test,(NH4)H2PO4explosion suppression effect of aluminum dust was the besteffect of magnesium dust explosion suppression followed, titanium dust explosionsuppression worst.3. Adding magnesium, aluminum, titanium dust in the same particle size of (NH4)H2PO4,with increasing mass fraction, mixed dust chosen by violent explosions to a minor explosionor severe burning and then can not be ignited, the test showed that the phenomenon: in priorto metal dust is completely inerting, metal dust in the added mass fraction of (NH4)H2PO4islarger, the metal dust explosion suppression better.
