In order to reduce clean coal ash and separation density of the spiral chute,improve clean coal yield and comprehensive efficiency, the separation ruleexperiments of common interfaced spiral chute, the separation rule experimentsof common interfaced spiral chute under the function of reagent and theseparation rule experiments of common interfaced spiral chute under thefunction of riffles were conducted. The Fluent was applied to simulate the flowfield on the spiral chute without riffles and with8riffles,the results explainedand verified the experimentals.With the increasement of underflow diameter size and feed pressure, theash of clean coal, ash of tailings, clean coal yield and comprehensive efficiencyof each size fraction have been raised to defferent degrees.Within a certain range, as the increasement of dosages, Polyethylene glycol400, Octanol and Kerosene all can continually reduce the clean coal ash of eachsize fraction, increase the clean coal yield of size less than0.125mm, expeciallyless than0.074mm, can not improve the comprehensive efficiency of each sizefraction; the clean coal ash of the big size can be dropped under the common function of Octanol and Kerosene, which is not as good as the effect of singleaction,but the comprehensive efficiency of fine fraction can be increased.Within the range of riffles quantities0to16, the riffles of2mm and3mmheight can reduce clean coal ash of size bigger than0.25mm, and the latter effectis better than the former, the clean coal yield and comprehensive efficiency ofeach size fraction reduced little by little, the clean coal yield of big fractiondecreases first and then raises under the function of4mm height riffles, the cleancoal yield of biggest frction can be increased, the comprehensive efficiency ofeach size fraction change little.When the riffles of3mm and4mm height are fixed the outer edge and theangle between riffle and the diameter of chute is positive, the clean coal ash ofeach size fraction all can not been dopped,the clean coal yield of each sizefraction all can been increased, reach the maximize of ash at the point of45°,when the angle is negative, the clean coal ash, clean coal yield andcomprehensive efficiency of big fraction can be increased. While4mm heightriffles can increase the clean coal yield of fine fraction,which is better than3mmheight riffles, the comprehensive efficiency of each size fraction drop under thefunction of3mm height riffles,while change little4mm height riffles. When theriffles are fixed the inner edge and the angle is positive, the smaller theangle,the greater the fall, the clean coal ash and yield of the fine fractionincrease,the comprehensive efficiency and ash of tailings drop; When the angleis nagative, the ash of clean coal, ash of tailings, clean coal yield and comprehensive efficiency of each size fraction are all higher than riffles are notsetted.The simulation of flow field on the spiral chute without riffles was carried,it showed that, the flow on the groove face moves along the outer edge, there islittle water on the inner edge, which is consistent with the actual flow field; Thesimulation of flow field on the spiral chute with8riffles was carried, it showedthat,when meet the riffle, the flow move to the inner edge obviously, the flowon the outer edge become thinner,which is coincide with the experimentalphenomena,and this is the reason of the drop of clean coal ash and yield.The Spiral Chute is a good separation equipment of coarse coal slime,reasonable reagent system and the operating parameters can achieve the aim ofreducing the clean coal ash and increasing the comprehensive efficiency ofspiral chute.
