Domestic oil and gas exploration and development phase to the development of the deep strata, with the increase of well depth, more complicated underground conditions is appeared, the ground is more rigid and difficult to break, the low drilling rate of deep hard formation extended the drilling cycle, increased drilling costs. Therefore developing new and efficient technology to increase hard rock formation drilling penetration rate becomes an urgent need. Drilling technology of pulsed oscillating is a new method of rock drilling complex using the technical advantage of pulsed drilling and percussive drilling, which can effectively resolve the deep drilling hard formation problem of low speed. Therefore the further investigation of the drilling mechanism and its modulation of drilling technology of pulsed oscillating is important for improving the exploration and development efficiency.By combining the analysis of the process and characteristics of rock-breaking of pulsed drilling and percussive drilling, explore the mechanism of enhancing the drilling rate deeply. The results show that drilling technology of pulsed oscillating remove the effects of bottom debris of pressure support by using pulse jet suction, increase the combat power of rock by using the slug of water jet, through the combined effects of dynamic and static increase the efficiency of rock crushing, the formation of these two technologies complement each other, effectively improve the mechanical drilling speed hard formation. Second, based the analysis on existing technology we researched the modulation of pulsed oscillating, a drilling tool for mechanical obstructing pulsed water jet was designed, and proved the feasibility of its principles by using numerical simulation method. Then the prototype of the drilling tool is developed, based on the established mathematical model, analyzes the basic working prototype process. Finally the prototype is studied completely through experiment, and the orthogonal design method that combines the tools of mathematical analysis of work processes, then researched the factors and the role of law of prototype, and optimized the structural parameters of the tool. The results show that the pulse jet has lower frequency and higher amplitude, the result of rock-breaking is better than ordinary continuous jet. Central air introduced through the introduction of the external hydraulic power unit, significantly improving the performance of jet, when mixing part of the introduction of the fluid ball, the jet breaking effect of significantly increased, the depth of the rock-breaking in this condition is 5 times as long as the depth when no introducing.We researched the method of modulation and the mechanism enhancing the penetration rate deeply through theoretical and experiment, theoretical results and experimental results are almost consistent, research Institute show that the method is feasible to use, The above research lays solid foundation for the development of mechanical tool for pulsed oscillating drilling and related technology.
