Research On Technological Innovation Ability Of Zhejiang High-tech Industry Assessment

In recent years, the high-tech industry has developed rapidly, and been regarded one of Zhejiang's key construction industries. Since 2006, Zhejiang has become the forth province in total economic output, while the output value of it's high-tech industry is the sixth place lower than total economic output. Therefore, to improve Zhejiang high-tech industry further and step up it's development, we should focus on transition and upgrading, especially the improvement of technological innovation ability.Based on the technological innovation ability theory, the author keeps a view to the coordinating and sustainable development of the Zhejiang high-tech industry. This research puts forward the index system, and constructs the model of the technological innovation efficiency rooted on the reality of Zhejiang high-tech industry by Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA for short). Based on the above and the condition of Zhejiang high-tech industry development, the paper appraises the technological innovation ability of Zhejiang high-tech industry. Then this paper analyses the weak reason, for instance, strength of high-tech industry, unreasonable input of innovation, the low output efficiency, the imperfect innovation environment and the simple industry structure and so on. Finally, from several aspects to put forward suggestions to improve the technological innovation of Zhejiang high-tech industry, as perfect the financial support system, developing Zhejiang core industry and so on.
