Although starting late, marine tourism grows rapidly in China. According to the Statistical Communique of Chinese Marine Economy, marine tourism income in the marine industry increased from 14.7% in 1996 to 28.08% in 2008, becoming one of the most important marine industries. Comparing with land travel, marine travel is more risky, because tourists live on land but marine tourism activities mainly occur in the ocean, and there are many hidden dangers, for example, the complex marine meteorology, geology, geomorphology, sea conditions, ocean current, sea life and other natural factors, as well as some human factors. This thesis is to propose measures on security management of marine tourism in China by analyzing its concepts, character, influence factors and representation, applying the relevant theories and indicating the status quo and problems, to build Security Management System of marine tourism in China, and do certain research on security management of marine tourism, so as to offer some reference. In this paper, the auther uses literature analysis method, qualitative and quantitative analysis methods. Literature analysis method mainly sums up the concepts, features, form factors and performances of marine tourism security, analyzes the status quo of marine tourism security management in China. Qualitative analysis method is used to describe the index factors of Early Warning Indicator System of marine tourism security. Quantitative analysis method is mainly used in the indicator quantification of safety warning on marine tourism and do early warning for marine tourism by BP network. The thesis includes six chapters. The first chapter is an introduction section, introduces the significance and purpose of this paper, status quo, content, method and relevant theory from home and abroad. The second chapter is an overview of security management of marine tourism, including defining the related concepts on marine tourism security, summing up the features, form factors and performance of marine tourism security. Chapter three uses field work method and information searching method to analyse the status quo of marine tourism security management in China. Chapter four indicates the problems on security management of marine tourism, based on the third chapter. Chapter five summarizes the previous chapters and constructs the Security Management System of marine tourism in China, especially, the Safety Warning Subsystem. Chapter six is the conclusion section, summarizing research results. It is found during the research that there are still many problems on the security management of Chinese marine tourism which boils down to the neglect of relevant department. So that it is necessary to establish the Security Management System of Chinese marine tourism. In this system, Early Warning System is most important. The author develops an Early Warning Indicator System of marine tourism security, and applys BP network of Artificial Neural Networks to give the safety warning. However, because the authority didn't add up the related data, the sample is based on the obtained data. During the research it is found that BP network can quickly set up the exact nonlinear mapping relationship between input and output and get accurate prediction. However, the thesis can not conduct a comprehensive prediction because of the neglect of the human factors in the accident. Therefore, this thesis proposes that chinese government statistic comprehensively the security indicators data on the marine tourism, to play Artificial Neural Network' advantages in early warning.
