Research On Energy Security Among China, Japan And South Korea Under Low-carbon Economy

Energy maintains the survival of mankind activities. It is the material basis for human existence and social activities. It is not only related to a sovereign state economic lifeline, but also significant to the country's politics, military, economic and other fields' safety. Today low-carbon concept was proposed, the world economy presents to develop towards to low-carbon, energy security therefore has a new meaning, new world economic environment also posed new challenge to energy security, how to ensure the energy security, advocate green life and low carbon development, how to promote energy conservation and emission reduction, become each country's concern.China, South Korea and Japan are adjacent to each other in the geographical location. They have a similar culture, What's more, they all demand for superpower energy supply. They have many commons in facing energy security issues and low carbon emission issues. China is the lead of the developing country, Japan is the most developed country in the world, South Korea is stand for the newly industrialized countries which are developed rapidly recently. When the low-carbon economy period comes, these three countries' energy politics are changed. They can learn lessons form each other in the strategy of traditional energy and also how to develop new kind of energy. Therefore, analyzing these three countries' energy status and energy security strategy is necessary, it not only can improve China's energy strategy, but also conduce to find out a new path of energy security cooperation which ensure energy security and stability in northeast of Asia.This article contains the following six parts.The first part is the introduction. This part describes the background and significance of energy security, and then analyzes what the domestic and foreign experts done to this problem, and finally points out the main contents of this paper writing.The second part is about energy security and its theory. First I introduce the meaning and classification of energy, and the characteristics of the current energy situation. Then discuss the energy security implications, energy security theory, and introduce how to judge whether a country energy security is security or not, what is the standard. Finally, I introduce the energy crisis concept and what impacts it can bring in, and pointed out in what aspects we can make efforts to ensure national energy safety.The third part is about low-carbon economy and energy security. Firstly introduce what are low-carbon economic meaning, significance and characteristics. As well as low carbon economy times arrive, energy and energy security opinions have changed, it is affected by low-carbon concept. Below low-carbon economic development mode, energy security faces many challenges. And at last this article discusses how to realize energy security under the guidance of low carbonization development.The fourth part is energy strategy research for China, Japan and South Korea. I divide this part into three small parts:the first part is for three counties energy conditions. The second part is for studying China, South Korea and Japan's energy supply and demand relation, energy structure and characteristics. The final part is for what happens to three countries' strategic energy politics under low-carbon economy period.The fifth part is energy cooperation. Start with the current situation in three counties energy cooperation, then what obstacles exist about energy cooperation, and finally give my opinions on this issue.The sixth part is the concluding words.
