A Study On Utilizing Foreign Direct Investment For Megalopolis Along Yangtze River In Anhui Province

In the tide of economic globalization, foreign direct investment has exceeded the international trade as the most active factor in the economic development. Scholars both at home and abroad have made many studies on the utilization of foreign direct investment, these studies mainly concentrated on the provincial level or national level. With the necessity of regional economy growing, Studying on utilizing foreign direct investment in regional economy have the theoretical significance (advance with times). As just being a national demonstration of receiving industrial shift, megalopolis along Yangtze River in Anhui province continues its development. In order to develop the economy of megalopolis along Yangtze River in Anhui province, utilizing foreign direct investment has the positive and practical significance.In this paper, the content is divided into four parts. Chapter one analyzes the study's background and significance, combines domestic and international research experience and this part is a foundation of the full paper. Chapter two shows internal and external characteristics of the utilization of foreign direct investment for megalopolis along Yangtze River in Anhui province. Chapter three taking measurement software to test specific problems based on the previous study. Examining the influential factors is help for promoting the better utilization of foreign direct investment. This part also studies its economic effects, thus proving the importance of utilizing foreign direct investment for the economic development of this regional. Chapter four comes to some problems on the basis of the previous research and makes measures to facilitate the future development in this regional.This study makes the following contributions. It is the first time to associate megalopolis along Yangtze River in Anhui province with foreign direct investment. It is can be found in previous studies that studies on megalopolis along Yangtze River in Anhui province usually limited to domestic research and no information on the utilization of foreign direct investment. In this paper, collecting large amount of data, it shows the characteristics of utilizing foreign direct investment for megalopolis along Yangtze River in Anhui province. It supplies the data-base for future researches. It is the first time to taking measurement software to analyze influential factors and economic effects, so the problems proposed in this paper are on the basis of definite analytical result and the measures proposed are targeted.
