| The thesis is a case study on Wanghuo custom in Festivals in Liulin, Shanxi Province which proceeds from the perspective of folkloristics. This study starts from exploring the natural environment in which it was nurtured, the historical and cultural background, its origin and process of development, aims to explore its cultural origin and humanistic value. to research its cultural transition and the trend of development in the situation of environmental-protection advocating. With regard to the research approaches, we used the combination of field operation and Literature review, the paper describes the current situation of Wanghuo custom in Liulin through field observation. The main innovation of the study is that it broke through the static, descriptive recording of some previous folkloristic research, it embeds into the dynamic situational description, thus to analyze the close relationship between people's adoration and belief which exists in form of Wanghuo and their daily life at the height of intangible cultural heritage, in order to raise up to the awareness level of protecting folkloristic activities in Festivals... |
