The study on technology usage behavior has always been the main focus on information system use research, including the initial IS use and continued IS use. It is the continue usage which lead to IS success. Based on Technology Acceptance Model, most research has overlooked attitude and its importantce in deciding behavior intention, which is the key viewpoint in psychology field. The objective of this study is to develop a longitudinal model based on behavior pattern (attitude-intention-usage) and provide the insight into the attitude working mechanism in IS use. Besides, this study differentiates user satisfaction and user dissatisfaction, and explores how these two independent attitudes work in IS use. Based on former research, the longitudinal model also includes other factors, like habit, facilitating conditions, social influences, task-technology fit.The proposed model was empirically tested in the context of web-based IS use in a non-experimental setting. The findings suggested that:(1) There's interaction between end-user satisfaction and dissatisfaction, which means the two independent attitudes do not influence intention independently (2) IS usage is not a consequence of intention, but also of habit. In particular, IS habit moderate the influence of intention such that its importance in determine behavior decrease as the behavior decreases as the behavior in question takes on a more habitual nature.(3) Social influence is key to intention formation.
