Research On Oil Futures Market Of China

Oil resources is known as "the blood of the economy", it has an important impact on all aspects of economy and society life. The functions of Oil futures are finding price,avoiding price risks and standardizing speculation. Therefore, all countries in the world are actively seeking to participate in oil futures, in order to maintain economy and society stability development. However, as the big energy-needs country, our country doesn't have crude oil futures and oil futures market is imperfect, which makes our country's economy and energy security under hand.In this paper, the oil futures market's current situation and existing problems have been deeply analysis based on futures market theories. Through analysis of the necessity and feasibility of China's improving oil futures market, I want to find the measures to improve our country's oil futures market. This paper includes six parts. The first part expounds background, research objective, domestic and foreign relevant research and technical route of this paper. The second part introduces the main oil futures market of the world and its features. By introducing the development process and comparing with other oil futures markets, the third part analyzes the oil futures market's current situation of China. The fourth part makes research on the disadvantage factors of improving China's oil futures market from the "Asian premium" phenomenon. The fifth part analyses on the necessity and feasibility of our country to develop oil futures market. The sixth part puts forward specific ideas of improving oil futures market in China from the reality that our country faces. In part seven, policy suggestions are put forward including improving oil futures laws and regulations, strengthening supervision of oil futures market and so on.
