Analysis Of Investor Relations Management From The Financial Perspective

Occident investor relations has developed into a rich content research field as it started earlier, while only recently our country scholars turn their attention to this field. For all that, as a result of insufficient recognition of the investor relations management's vital fiscal function, not every listed company implement investor relations management and regard it as an important part of the corporate strategic. Therefore this article combines the investor relations management with the stock liquidity, profit capability and firm value. Then this article do a study on the relevance between investor relations management and the stock liquidity as well as the relevance between investor relations management and the corporation's profit capability and firm value respectively using standard researching method and empirical research method.This article begins with the theoretical research of the investor relations management. This part summarizes the implication, factors, goals and theoretical bases of the investor relations management and constitutes the theoretical basis of the following empirical research parts. Then on the basis of the hundred strong enterprises chosen by the 4th investor relations annual meeting, this article selects 70 awarded companies and 70 suited companies that were not awarded companies as research sample. And then according to the 2009 annual bulletin, this article tests the relationship among the listed company investor relations management, the stock liquidity, the corporation's profit ability and firm value. Finally we come to three conclusions, the first one is that there exists a negative correlation between investor relations management and stock liquidity; the second one is that the development of the investor relations management can enhance a company's profit ability; the last one is that there exists a positive correlation between investor relations management and firm value. On this basis, this article obtains three recommendations for our country and whether the government or the companies has the responsibility to make great effort to promote the development of the investor relations management.
