The power industry is facing rapidly growing opportunities. Faced with complex and diversifying situation, the industry has both difficulties and opportunities. As the power industry is facing large-scale assets reorganization and high growth, strengthening the efficiency of the internal asset management and enhancing the enterprise ability to create value will contribute to promote development and increase security. This paper takes Jinshan Electric Company as the object, analyzed the relationship between assets efficiency management and enterprise performance from a theoretical and empirical point of view, thus proving that the rational allocation of funds, optimization of the asset structure and improvement of the overall assets efficiency is an important way to improve business performance, and provides advices for the enterprises to make better allocation of resources. The analysis process mainly adopts the research method to combine theory with practice, i.e. based on the theoretical analysis, combine the company's situation and problems for research on optimization of capital structure. The analysis will also involve asset size and structure analysis, asset quality analysis and asset portfolio efficiency analysis. Finally, the paper puts forward countermeasures that should be taken to optimize the asset structure.
