The employment is always the most concerned problem all over the world, especially for our country. After rapid development for 30 years, this issue is becoming more prominent. As an intensive city and the window of the Reform and Open Policy, the problem of employment is more serious in Shenzhen, so this article takes Shenzhen for example.Firstly, this article makes summary of main employment theory, employment capacity research and factors which would affect employment, and figure out the analysis basis of this article. Then using Exponential Smoothing,Time Series and Regression analysis to predict the gross employment and the employment by industry in the next 5 years.Based on these analyses to construct system to evaluate the current and future employment capacity in Shenzhen from two aspects:the absolute indicators and relative indicators, and then using Principal Component Analysis to make an general evaluation, at last getting an overall conclusion. At last, some musurements are put forward according to the existing problems, in order to enlarge the employment capacity and promote sustainable development of Shenzhen.
