Government regulation reform of Natural Monopoly industry has been a hot spot of research field, including price regulation is its core link. Natural monopoly industry has characteristics of economy scale and economy scope and cost times of economic can be added, such as telecommunications, electricity, railways, water supply and other industries, usually plays a very important position in national economic life, studies on how its imposed price regulation has important significance. In recent years, the price of natural monopoly industry in China from the regulation planned economy period to the state monopoly prices under the condition of market economy transformation of modern government price supervision, although the reform has achieved initial results, but there is still a traditional indistinction between the functions of the management system of the department, price regulation means backwardness and lack of efficiency, government to the price of natural monopoly industry regulations still has serious failure phenomenon.This article aimed to do a research on price regulation of natural monopoly industry, according to study general theory, the necessity of the price regulation, on the basis of empirical analysis based on the empirical research in electric industry of China, data summary of natural monopoly industry price regulation because of problems and analyzes the disease. On this basis, combining with China's concrete practice explore further perfect our country of natural monopoly industry price regulation pattern.Through the study of China's natural monopoly industry, and puts forward price regulation should redefine nature with the natural monopoly non-monopoly operations business, and on this basis to reshape competitive mode of natural monopoly, and the business construct reasonable price formulation model to guide price regulation practice.
