The Empirical Study Of Gansu Rural Financial Efficiency And Rural Economic Growth

Financial is heart of the modern economy,which in some extend determins speed and efficiency of the economic development.As an important part of modern finance,rural finance have heavy effcet on the development of rural economy. Empirical study indicates that rural finance development is positively interrelated to rural economic growth,and the rural finance efficiency is the key method to measure how the finance developmen improving economic growth. However, at present, the shortage of finance supplyment and a large number of rural funds become non-agricultural or flows out of the countryside through every possible channel, which blocks the development of rural economy.Therefore, I did empirical analysis on Gansu Province's rural financial efficiency (time series data 1989-2008) in this paper. With the empirical analysis, it first carries out factor analysis and detects the tendency of rural finance efficiency in Gansu Province. Then finds out the relations between the level of rural finance of Gansu Province and the growth of rural economy through regression analysis,get the result that Savings into Investment Efficiency is the worst chain of the Gansu rural finance efficiency. Finally,based on the analysis above, searches for factors that restrict the efficiency of rural finance of Gansu Province. At last,I discussed ideas of improving Gansu rural financial efficiency and promoting rural economic growth.
