Study On The Operational Efficiency Of Huishang Bank

At present, the government set up the Demonstration area of the cities along the Yangtze river for Industrial Relocation in Anhui province. This action will promote the high-speed development of small and medium enterprises in Anhui Province. Huishang Bank has a huge advantage to support the small and medium enterprises as a city commercial banks in Anhui Province. As a result, it is of great practical significance to study the operational efficiency of Huishang Bank.Bank efficiency is a relative value, which can be evaluated from macroscopic or microscopic aspect. From the macroscopic aspect, bank efficiency is the bank's contribution ratio to the growth of national economy; and from the microscopic aspect, bank efficiency refers to study the efficiency of individual bank itself.This paper aims to study the efficiency of Huishang Bank from the microscopic aspect. We add the market occupancy rate into the evaluation index system of Huishang Bank, and this is more scientific. According to the obtained information source, this paper has carried out a research on efficiency of 12 typical sample banks, including 4 state-owned banks,4stock-holding-system banks and 4 city commercial banks. This paper uses the Grey relational analysis to evaluate the bank efficiency through measuring the relational extent between the appraisal commercial banks and ideal commercial bank. The index system includes asset growth ratio, deposit growth ratio,ROA,ROE,operating ratio, capital adequacy ratio, bad loan ratio, equity ratio, deposit-loan ratio and cash-to-total assets ratio etc. Through comparative analysis the efficiency value, we will find out the characteristics of Huishang Bank. Finally, this paper gets the conclusion, finds out the problem and proposes relevant suggestions on the basis of objective evaluation and analysis. The suggestion is that Hushing Bank should expand the scope of their business, improve their quality and service.
