Research On Relation Between The Processing Trade And The Urban Economy Growth

The processing trade has created a myth in DongGuan which soars an urban economy. The processing trade has drawn the overall economy development, obviously improved people's living standard, promoted industrial structure promotion, sped up urbanization advancement and has solved a group of external personnel's employment problem in DongGuan. However, factors such as the high pollution, the high energy consuming, the limited land development in the city and the rising labor cost should not been overlooked,and they have become the bottleneck in the developmen of processing trade. At this financial crisis, the original processing trade pattern in DongGuan especially received challenge, and the economic growth's speed postpones obviously.In order to research the relationship between the DongGuan processing trade and the urban economy growth, this article emphatically analyze the general situation of DongGuan's processing trade development as well as the question which exposed under the global economic crisis at first, and then takes the DongGuan shoe industry as an example so as to make the case analysis. In qualitative analysis's foundation, it adopted the Basala-Feder Model which has joined thea factor of technology advancement (A), surveyed the stoichiometric relation between the processing trade and the urban economy growth in past 15 years. Through the research,it obtained such an conclusion that the processing trade promotes the DongGuan economic growth, but also further analyzes the way of promoting DongGuan's economic growth.Then, it points out the DongGuan processing trade direction in the future the, and finally puts forward the related policy proposal to the future DongGuan processing trade and the urban economy development. Through this article research, with the hope of system assurance which relates to between the DongGuan n processing trade and the economic growth, it will give certain reference value of cultivating the urban economy growth point and developing the future DongGuan processing.
