| The process of industrial structure upgrade is the one of continuous optimal allocation for the economic resources. And the optimal allocation is one of the basic functions of financial market. Industrial structure upgrade needs the corresponding financial support to make it possible that industrial structure upgrade is carried on highly efficiently. However, the promoting effect of finance on industrial structure upgrade is not invariant. Due to the difference in the level industry development and the development status of finance, the relation between industrial structure upgrade and finance can't be the same in different countries, different areas or at different time in the same area. Generally speaking, the finance is beneficial to industrial structure upgrade, but sometimes the promoting effect may not be obvious. Even it could bring certain inhibitory effect.The paper collects lots of relevance data of Tianjin from 2000 to 2009. The financial developing index and the index of industrial structure upgrade are chosen as the explanatory variables and the explained variables, the econometric model is established, the relation of the two is analyzed. Empirical study shows that the enlargement of financial scale and foreign direct investment scale correlated positively with the upgrade of the Industrial Structure of Tianjin, The increase of real rate and financial savings structure correlated negative correlation with the upgrade of the Industrial Structure of Tianjin, The conclusions show that the finance is beneficial to industrial structure upgrade in Tianjin.Based on empirical conclusion, Tianjin should lay equal stress on the scope and the efficiency of the finance. The concrete measures should include several aspects, such as increase the scale of FDI and optimized position of FDI, open up the channel of finance, improve the efficiency of financial services and eliminate the financial inhibition to stimulate the process of the industrial restructure upgrade. |
