A Study On Application Of Policy Instruments For Economic Structural Adjustment

After the financial crisis, the economic situation has been complicated. Our traditional model of economic development faced a serious challenge. In order to cope with the international financial crisis and maintain a stable environment for economic development, China's government took a "growth" policies and measures. While stimulating economic growth, but on the other hand China's economic operations further highlight the structural contradictions, macro-control in dilemma. Therefore, the government needs to select correct and rational policy instruments for economic restructuring on the base of analyzing deep-seated social and economic contradictions.This paper based on this grim economic situation, focusing on the reality and learning the theories of different scholars about economic structure, to analysis China's national economic structure. According to the availability and comparability of dates, I selected 15 specific indicators from the aspects of industrial structure, investment structure, consumption structure and rural structure as variables of the structure of economic development. The use of quantitative methods and tools turns in-depth analysis of changes in China's economic structure available. And then, it is possible to sort out the main contradictions and the decisive factors of economic structure in China.According to the empirical test results, I analyzed the principal contradiction of Chinese economic structure. And then, it is need to study how to select and apply appropriate policy tools to adjust these major contradictions of economic structure.In order to alleviate the economic contradictions gradually, I finally put forward policy proposals from the aspects of industrial structure, consumption structure, investment structure and the structure of urban and rural areas, which can achieve the policy objective of economic restructuring ultimately. The economy growth will be stable and sustainable.
