With the background of innovation in China's commercial bank system,the study on China's commercial bank corporation governance is of important significance in the theory and reality. With the annual reports of 14 listed banks in China from year 2005 to year 2009,this paper select some representative financial data to extract comprehensive performance index with the method of key successful factors. Separately from the shareholding structure, ownership concentration, three aspects of equity liquidity and bank performance to establish the regression model, this paper makes an empirical study on the relationship between ownership structure and corporate Performance of commercial banks.Conclusions of this study are as follows:Form from the equity point of view, the proportion of state-owned shares is negatively correlated with bank performance, the proportion of corporate shares is positively correlated with bank performance; From the perspective of ownership concentration, the proportion of the largest shareholder and the proportion of top ten shareholders are negatively correlated with bank performance, Z Index (the largest shareholder ratio / proportion of the second-largest shareholders and banks)has no significant correlation between performance; Liquidity from the equity point of view, the proportion of tradable shares and a positive correlation between bank performance, the proportion of non-tradable shares and a negative correlation between bank performance. Finally,in connection with the problems of ownership structure of China's joint-stock commercial banks,this paper puts forward some thoughts and suggestions form proving ownership structure and raising corporate governance efficiency of China's joint-stock commercial banks.
