As China's sustained and rapid economic growth, residents'demand for foreign exchange financial products increases rapidly. Because people are not good at financial management skills in the foreign exchange and the opportunity cost of it is high, objectively it provides a broad market for the concentration of experts financial management. Therefore the chinese commercial banks must speed up the research on the market expending of the personal exchange financial product. Bank of China which has an advantage in the foreign exchange financial products and in professional management, should play a greater leadership role in provideing foreign exchange products to domestic residents. The Bank of China Guizhou branch must expand its market share in Guizhou.Therefore strengthening the research on the market expending of foreign exchange financial product of the Bank of China Guizhou branch has a crucial siganificance to the development of the Bank of China Guizhou branch.This dissertation first describes the theoretical basis for financial management of foreign exchange, which is life-cycle theory and portfolio theory. Then it defines the concept of foreign exchange financing products, analyzes foreign exchange financial products characteristics and kinds, and points out that the content of development of foreign exchange financial product.This dissertation analys the status of exchange financial product development of the Bank of China Guizhou Branch from the investment currency structure,the expected rate of return,commission period,the start amount of commission and operational risk,also sum up the Bank of China Guizhou branch foreign exchange problems in financial product development.Then it makes a comparative analysis on the development of personal financial products between United States and Hong Kong, and concludes that the perfect capital markets is the basis for its rich foreign exchange financial products and Hong Kong pays more attention to building the financial service center brand and image. Finaly, we propose strategies for its foreign exchange financing products development, including ideological emphasis on the development of foreign exchange financing products,strengthening brand building; accelerating the exchange of innovative financial products, strengthening the building of the ranks of professional foreign exchange financial managers, based on conditions of the Bank of China Guizhou branch and experience of overseas wealth management product development.
