This paper proposed topic"the network agenda setting and the construction of destination image"through long-term network observation, combining analysis of relevant literature and using "agenda setting theory" and "destination image" as the theoretical basis. Furthermore, this paper preliminarily demonstrated the topic by employing the questionnaire survey method, conducting field surveys, and applying sociology statistical software SPSS 16.0version to analyze obtained data-Base on the topic of the thesis, there are 4 hypotheses: 1.The internet is the main source for tourists to obtain travel information. 2. The internet agenda-setting is effective in constructing the image of the travel destination. 3. The internet agenda-setting is influential in the travel destination image of the tourists'cognition. 4. The media usage of the tourists is the most important factor that influences the travel destination image.accordingly, from the analysis and summary of the online media usage of travelers, information source preferences, information selections, information needs, this paper proposed strategic recommendations in the network communication environment. These recommendations included how to effectively set the topics, agenda, and how to shape, distribute and correct tourism destination image. Besides, this paper provided reference comments of the network communication of destination image promotion agencies from the aspects of the network information transmission, media selection, and information types.
