Research On Attracting And Employing Venture Capital Of High-tech Industry In Hebei

In the era of knowledge economics, the reconstruction of economics and the sustainable and rapid development of economics promoted by the high technology industry has become a new trend and are regarded as important indicators of core competitiveness for a country and a region..The development of high technology industry will help enhance the regional competitiveness and economic development. Currently, the development of economic in Hebei province is primarily relying on the traditional industries, whereas the high technology industry is still in its infancy. The main factor affecting economic development in Hebei province is the funding problem. Currently, there are several ways of financing, which include government-funded financing, bank loans, self capital financing, bond financing and venture capital. However, by analyzing the features of different stages of the high-tech industry, it is suggested that the venture capital is the most feasible way of financing and can be seen as the engine that speed up the development of high-tech industry. The venture capital plays a pivotal role in the development of high-tech industry. In the way of accelerating the transformation of scientific and technological achievements to productive forces, venture capital has promoted the development high-tech industry and in the mean time, stimulated the development of the whole industry. Without venture capital market, Hebei economics can not possibly develop rapidly. Therefore, the high-tech industry in Hebei should strive to find out proper ways of attracting and employing venture capital to develop the high-tech industry in our province.This paper focuses on attracting and employing venture capital to develop high-tech industry in Hebei. Based on theories of financial management, management, theoretical study and empirical analysis are carried out. The actual situation in Hebei is also taken into consideration in research of how to attract and employ venture capital to develop high-tech industries in Hebei. First of all, the feasibility of current financing model and venture capital in developing Hebei high-tech industry is analyzed. Traditional financing model can not promote high-tech enterprise development and the characteristics of high-tech industry at different stages have determined that venture financing is the most viable channel of financing. Secondly, through theoretical and empirical studies, effects of venture capital on high-tech industry development in Hebei are analyzed. Based on the current condition of high-tech industry and venture capital in Hebei province, the regression analysis is carried out to verify the research. Meanwhile and plausible explanation is also offered to testify the empirical research results. By comparing with other provinces, this paper concluded that venture capital is capable of exerting greater potential influence on high-tech industry of Hebei province. Based on the actual situation of Hebei province, the paper also analyzed the problem in terms of high-tech industry attracting and employing venture capital. At the end of the paper, financing strategies in properly attracting and employing venture capital for high-tech industry are offered by the author.
