Investigations On Causes Of Farmer's Poverty And Animal Husbandry Restructuring In Keshiketeng Banner

Inner Mongolia is one of the poorest and largest long-range regions at the west of China, which is one of being helped regions by State and international agencies. This article investigated the agricultural and animal husbandry sectors of Keshiketeng banner of Inner Mongolia. From the investigation data, we found out the reasons which resulted in rural populations'poverty. The results showed that because of the effect of climate condition's change and man-made factors, the output of soil resource is low. Stock raising development face serious problems, traditional domestic animals breeding is not rational, productivity level is lower, breeding and management is short of instruction. And rural populations'science and cultural is lag and local finance is unavailable and fund devotion is little and basic construction is unsubstantial, and so on. For these problems, we put forward some strategies and measurements: In allusion to the Keshiketeng banner's disadvantages, we set up some experimental units and make experiments. If succeed, then extend it. For the grazing regions, divide the regions and keep the animal out of the forbidden zone. Extend breeding animal's way of barn-breeding and half barn-breeding. For breeding structure, we should adjust animal species, choose fine species and improve them, enhance embryo transplant technology, strengthen commercial consciousness, quicken turnover and sale of animal, carry through intensive management, and then some modules and configured techniques are put out for recovering of grassland ecology and sustainability. For the question of soil productivity declining, we should rebuild the fields which output is lower, improving the desert soil, enhancing man-made grassland construct. Building up idea of"agriculture for animal husbandry; planting for animal breeding", improve planting structure. For the traditional stock raising production way, we should combined agriculture with stock raising. In other words, we should combine animal husbandry with agriculture in the way of"land-plant-animal"modules.
