| Currently, both accounting theoretical and practical domain support a widespread standpoint that the financial report mode needs to be expanded continuously, with satisfy the information demand of market variety, and provide the information which can build up the entrust responsibility of the company. Along with the gradual perfect of capital market, the standard establishment organization in all countries draws up more and more standard, the information which requests the business enterprise publishes increases continuously. In fact, in the gradually complicated economic environment, the contents of finance disclosure have already been consumedly overloaded, which makes us neglect the whole values of disclosure. The accounting information customers usually feel that they can't discover or confirm which disclosure will influence their own decisions in a reasonable time. However, the problem doesn't die down. All proofs show that the circumstance just becomes even worse. In fact, one of the limiting of research on voluntary disclosure is the difficulty of confirm the limit range of measuring voluntary disclosure at present.Owing to above reason, the paper investigates the disclosure overload in annual financial reports of Chinese listed companies, and studies the standard which measure the disclosure overload of finance information and the economic results of excess disclosure. The paper also inquiries into the reasons which result in disclosure overload in our listed companies'financial reports and then puts forward serial countermeasures and policy suggestions. The paper also puts forward suggestions to the limit range of voluntary disclosure from the angle of dispelling surplus information, which is favorable to the expansion of subsequent relevant research on voluntary disclosure.Main work and innovations:1.
