With rapid development of China's economy, car market in China developed even more rapidly. Booming sales in car market caught the eyes of car giants in the world. Within a short period of only several years, the car market in China changed from quite limited varieties in products with seriously short supply, to increasingly growing varieties with sufficient supply. Though the demand is keeping increased, production capacity is increasing even faster. Accordingly, car market changed from typical sellers' market to a market with certain level of competition. In such a car market in China which changed to a market with certain level of competition already, to build dealer's own brand is not only a long-term consideration - it is becoming quite urgent now. In China, a lot of car dealers have realized the importance of building up their own dealers' brands. The problem is, when there's lack of precedents for reference in the market, no one knows how to build up a dealer's brand and to make it competent in the market. They just don't have a series of systematic instructions in hand to follow. In other words, there's no existing answer for the question of how to establish a car dealer's brand strategy.In this article, the author tells firstly how the car market in China developed and changed since more than a decade ago. Based on current market situation, the issue of how to establish a car dealer's brand strategy is raised. Making use of related theories and author's experience in car market, a research on the topic of how to establish a car dealer's brand strategy is conducted. The company S is set as example company in the research. Some conclusions with practically referenced value are made.
