Research On The Methods Of Environmental Performance Audit

With the development of social economy, the problem of environment is becoming more and more serious. A new concept of Environment Performance Audit has been mentioned in the research of human environment protection .At present, Chinese environment performance audit is studied at the early stage of research and practice, while in the West countries, especially, most developed countries the environment performance audit is very well researched. Therefore, this chapter analyses the situations of the environment performance audit research methods, and studies the environment performance audit research means, so that the method research and practice may be promoted further.This paper includes the following parts:The first part analyses what is environment performance audit methods, then mentions the necessity of research methods of environment performance audit. Then, the research point may be found through analyzing the current condition of environment performance audit at home and abroad.The second part studies the conventional approach to analyze environment performance audit. And this part also lists some examples to research how to combine general means and environment performance audit.The third part proposes the characteristics of environment performance audit, this is the most important part in this paper, this part analyses, in detail, the definitions and characteristics, application fields of each research mean.The last part simply analyses the difficulty of environment performance audit and the ways to solve those difficulties.The new point is the systemic research of Environmental Performance Audit and its definitions, characteristics, application fields and other matters.
