With the development of the globalization of production and international distribution, international investment plays an important part in the economic development of global nations. Especially ever since the 1980s, it has exerted increasingly profound impact on economies of the investing countries, the host countries as well as the whole world under the impetus of the globalization of economies. The flourishing economies in both China and India in the recent decade have attracted the world attention and stirred up the foreign investors interest. The majority of the investor experts predict that the investment condition in Asian-Pacific area will be improved further, where China and India are considered as the countries having the most potential capacity of introducing investments. Therefore it is necessary and important to make a comparative study of the utilization of foreign investment between China and IndiaFirst, this thesis compares and analyzes the volume, industrial structure, the resources of the investments so that the status quo of their utilization of foreign investments can be apprehended entirely for the purpose of exploring the law.Second, this thesis studies both countries' policies of utilizing foreign investments by employing the qualitative analysis from the macro perspective. It covers two main aspects as restrictive and inspiring policies.
