A Study On The Development Of Warrants Market In China

The securities market has been constantly expanded in China since the past 15 years of development, so there is a potential demand to use financial derivatives for risk control management. Warrants, as a primary financial derivative product, has made very good progress in overseas markets in terms of its unique product design and "Small broad" economic impact. In order to improve the overall structure of the securities market and increase market efficiency, Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange began to issue warrants in 2005 to the market. This paper tries to synchronize with the market research and maintain our development of the market through the market researching of overseas development, summing up the rich experiences of the overseas countries and regions and analyzing China's warrants market so as to provide actual examples for our market development. In the early stages of development, a timely analysis and rectification of the problems of market development can ensure the healthy development of the market and thus promote the development of China's financial derivatives.
