ARM-Based Research On Commodity Grouping For Customs Documents Checking

Normally, the customs documents checking is based on the understanding of a specific commodity, however, it is impossible for a customs official to understand all kinds of the commodities. For better documentary checking, it is necessary to classify the commodity items. A specific declaration include lots of items in many classifications, this needs different specialists to make their respective manual documents checking. In this process the circling time of declaration is decreased, the working intensity of customs officials is increased and the efficiency of customs clearing is restricted. Nowadays, to scientifically group the commodity items in documents checking is becoming the important research question inside the customs.Association Rules is an important branch in the research of data mining. It is the short description of the probability that some special affairs in the database happen simultaneously. Mining association rules is the course of using special methods to find the association rule hidden in a database. Its successful application, which has been approved in commercial field, has made it the most important research content in data mining. However, its application in the field of customs commodity grouping is still blank.This paper analyzes the shortages of commodity grouping method of ongoing customs manual documents checking. Meanwhile the paper offers a wholly fresh commodity grouping method of customs manual documents checking, which is based on commodity association rule and supplemented with professional knowledge adjustments. Finally, by using Apriori Algorithm, this paper treats the import/export declaration database of year 2005 of Dalian Customs as original source of data, and based on large itemsets in the commodity HS code of different declarations, this paper testify the true datum as an example. By comparison the original method and the commodity grouping method of association rule, the circling time and frequency of declaration digital data in the course of manual documents checking is diminished, and higher customs clearing efficiency is reached.
