Study On Foreign Trade's Influence On Economic Growth Of Jiangsu Province

With the globalization of world economy, the international trade tends to be liberalized day by day. Under the condition of integration of trade and investment, foreign elements have become important measures to develop a nation's (region) economy and improve habitants' welfare. Since the reform and open to exterior, Jiangsu province has given play to its geographic advantages, introduced large amounts of foreign capitals, and developed greatly the foreign trade. Its trade scale having rapidly expended and its foreign trade competence having remarkably increased, Jiangsu province has exerted important and irreplaceable effect to make full use of foreign and local markets and resources, widen the economic development space and propel the continuous and rapid economic growth.2004, the dependency of foreign trade of Jiangsu province has achieve 91%, showed that great scale of input and output of Jiangsu province come true though foreign trade. New century, Jiangsu has raised a target of "two first", in order to realize the target, Jiangsu province should keep high speed of development, and also the quality of development should be confirmed. It requires that we should firstly find the relationship between foreign trade and economic growth of Jiangsu province. Then we should find the right way of foreign trade for Jiangsu province by analysis on the interaction and influence of two parts.First we summarize the theory and reference of the task as the basis of the article. Based on the theory analysis, chapter three analyzes theoretically the mechanism how trade effects the economic growth. That is to say that the export leads to demand-pulling effect, which spurs economic growth; while imported technology promotes economic growth and trade structure spurs economic growth through national industrial structure..
