Reason Of The Transition With Enterprise Ownership

Since "THE Nature of The Firm" written by Coase be published, research of the firm has been becoming more and more entirely. Theory of the modern firm is developing very fast. In the theory, ownership of the firm plays a very important part. So the paper chooses production elements angle to research this problem.The paper adopts logical reasoning and historical methods to review the transition of the ownership. We consider that there are two basic elements in the firm: human capital and matter capital, and we analyze the negotiation ability of the owners with the two capitals. In details, we judge the negotiation ability of the owners from five aspects: rare limit, contribution to the production, asset specificity, ability of holding risks, and difficult degree to be supervised. At the same time, we consider the influences of division, technology, market, and so on. From these aspects, we can review the game process and developing uptrend of the two owners. Besides, we study the historical process of the ownership transition based on the negotiation ability, from classical firm to knowledgeable firm. From logical reasoning and historical analysis, we can see that ownership transition is based on the transformation of the owner' s negotiation ability. One who has stronger negotiation ability governs the ownership; the other is on the subordinate status. As the fast development of the knowledge economy, human that hold knowledge improve their negotiation abilities quickly, and they play a more and more important part in the ownership of the firm. It is a historical trend that owners of human capital will hold the ownership of the firm.This paper's research has two functions: in theory, it provides a new angle to the firm research; in realism, it can provide some advice to the father frame of the firm. Particularly, it can make some useful suggestions to the transaction of the national enterprise. Of course, this research is just from one angle, it isn't all-around and from all angles. It is sure there are many shortages.
