An Empirical Research On Impact Of FDI's Constitution On Spillover Of FDI Inflow In Jiangsu

Economic globalization makes the countries all over the world influenced by FDI technological transformation and technological diffusion. The FDI technological transformation and technological diffusion mainly reveals that the foreign direct investment constitution will affect the area future and the economical development tendency.Technological transformation can influence future trend at industry , area , way mainly to spread FDI. Future technological transformation appear on manufacturing industry , information transmission ,such as computer service and software industry. In terms of area, technological transformation happens more and more among developed country, developing country's share in global technological transformation is lower and lower. In terms of way, the integration of base of manufacturing industry , research and development centre and regional general headquarters has produced the positive impetus to technological diffusion.Jiangsu Province, as the large province of economy of the coastal area, has been the main area where our country has absorbed the direct foreign investments all the time . Since 1985, the actual value of FDI that Jiangsu has absorbed has increased .Besides change on above-mentioned quantities and scale, the remarkable change has taken place in its constitution. Some new characteristics have appeared in source place , investment way and the foreign capitals constitution of Jiangsu Province at present; in terms of constitution of source place , take Asian countries and regions as the core in the source place of the foreign capitals; in terms of utilizing way, the individual proprietorship trend of FDI is being strengthened constantly; According to industry, take investment of the manufacturing industry as the core , especially concentrate on the industry with high technical content. These changes seem to be not at all relevant to its inherent connection and certainty. from the point of view of host country ,we should care even more this kind of change especially overflow on the influence of the effect to FDI technology, therefore we can take corresponding countermeasure and measure according to its favorable or adverse effect of emerging.This text begin with direct change of investment constitution , and analyse the impact of FDI constitution on technological spillover,then give a demonstration research on the extent of effection;lastly,give some suggestion about adjusting the constitution of FDI.
