Life insurance companies deal with the insurance of life and body of Human being. Chinese life insurance industry has been developing at a rapid rate since its recovery in 1980's.The revenue of Life insurance exceeded that of property insurance in 1997 for the first time. Till 2004,the revenue of life insurance had accounted for 74.5% of the total insurance revenue ,which tends to be more aggressive in the future. The steady operation and sustainable development of life insurance companies have aroused great concern of the whole society.Steady and sustainable development of life insurance companies requires that effective internal control systems should be in place. Chinese life insurance industry has just begun its internal control construction. There still exist many fields that internal control hasn't reached, which results in risky incidents. Meanwhile, Foreign insurance companies have gained access to Chinese market. Consequently, Chinese life insurance companies are confronted with even intensive competition. Competitiveness of our companies stems from themselves. The decisive factor of competitiveness is effective internal control.Therefore, I am determined to write this dissertation named "Internal control of Chinese life insurance companies", which is of profoundly theoretical and practical sense. It explores the status quo of internal control of Chinese life insurances companies and tries to find the suitable theory that can instruct the practice of internal control of Chinese life insurance companies.I hope I can contribute to internal control work of Chinese life insurance companies through my analysis.My dissertation consists of five parts:Chapter 1 presents my motive relative research in China, the overall layout and unique innovation of my dissertation.Chapter 2 analyzes how ERM-IF exceeds IC-IF and the status quo of internal control theory of Chinese life insurance companies, then puts forward my opinion that the theory should be developed into ERM-IF, which integrates internal control and...
